Its ok to make mistakes as long as you learn from them.  We spent over $200,000 on Facebook Ads and documented everything.  What we learned is priceless.

  • 331,457 leads generated
  • Over $5,000,000 in sales as a result

Those are impressive stats!  Looking back at our notes it wasn’t successful from the start.

In the beginning we were terrible.

That is right.  When we first started, it was a lot of expensive learning lessons.  Our original campaigns were less impressive.  We made all the rookie mistakes.

  • No call to action
  • Poorly written copy
  • Sending clicks to our website’s home page
  • Only creating one ad, no variations

At this point, most business owners or manager would abort the process and save money from what seemed to be a fruitless exercise.  Thankfully we had a team that was determined to succeed.

We started making little changes to each campaign and documenting the results.  Over time we were developing some interesting stats.  Its amazing the difference a change in copy or image can make to to campaign results.  We were also getting smarter in targeting and how to segment the audience.  After a few years and a few hundred thousand in dollars pent, we were on top of our game.

In August of 2015 we crushed it for a swim club client looking to generate membership sales for the following year’s season.  They wanted people to buy memberships a year in advance.  We set up our proven system for them and it resulted in $200,000 in membership sales over one month.
